3D Drawing students learn how to take drawings created in the DM101 2D vector drawing software, open them in 3D Modeling and Animation software and extrude the flat 2D drawings into 3D models that can be rotated 360 degrees in space as they work on refining their models.
Students learn how to apply color and lighting to their 3D models and then export them as a 2D image so they can be opened in a 2D bitmap drawing and painting program where the 3D drawing is refined in color, contrast and lighting and incorporated into a multi-faceted underwater composition.
The final artwork seamlessly integrates 2D and 3D art in a beautiful composition.
Students also learn how to animate 2D vector drawings in cutting edge 3D Modeling and Animation software. This software is making waves in the animation industry, and it's free!
DM101, DPP101, and DDP101 are prerequisite for this course.
